The Audeze LCD-3 combines planar magnetic engineering with handcrafted wood detailing. Its open-back design is intended for dedicated listening, bringing a rich presentation and a sense of space to an appropriately matched headphone system.
Key Features
- 110-ohm planar driver – a stacked magnetic structure drives Audeze's planar diaphragm for high-resolution sound.
- Natural, spacious presentation – realistic timbre and a deep soundstage give recordings a sense of space.
- Zebrawood rings – matched by grain and color and set off by subtle gold accents.
- Handcrafted build – each pair is assembled by Audeze craftspeople.
- Plush earpads – soft, supple pads keep you comfortable for hours of listening.
Good to Know
LCD-3 sounds its best with a quality headphone amplifier or integrated amplifier, and both tube and solid-state designs are good partners. Choose the earpad version (leather or leather-free) using the variant selector.
